Job description

CSP Management is seeking a unique individual with business analysis skills, sales motivation, business etiquette, and the ability to communicate with teams of landscapers, including subcontractors. This is a unique opportunity for a Landscape Supervisor role, where we are looking for someone with strong leadership skills who can think independently. This individual will need to oversee several subcontractors and other crew members, making mature decisions that are in the best interest of the company.
CSP Management is a well-established government contractor with the US Federal Government. We provide Facilities Management Services, including landscape. CSP Management is responsible for landscape design, maintenance, demo, and installation services as part of our landscape services.
Requirements:
The successful applicant will work at a Federal Facility. The facility requires that all personnel be cleared to work to possess a government badge. The applicant must also have a valid driver’s license, be fluent in English, and be able to communicate with others.
The ideal candidate may have several years of experience and a desired landscape license. They should also be able to quickly learn existing protocols and ensure they are maintained. Our environment is fast-paced, as we work on multiple projects.
The responsibilities of this position are outlined below:
  • Lead staff of 4-7 other landscapers
  • Monitor and train landscaping staff
  • Set up daily activities for self and landscaping staff
  • Pick up parts, as needed, for jobs on schedule
  • Oversee the new jobs, as the owner instructs, while maintaining the existing grounds
  • Supervise the use of equipment
  • Ensure that staff follow safety guidelines and perform Safety Meetings
  • Completes various administrative duties, as explained by the owner
  • The ideal candidate will also have additional skills, such as:

This position is expected to grow, and we are excited to welcome a new team member. We currently need someone for every Saturday. The pay rate is based on experience. The typical schedule is Saturday from 06:30 am to 3:00 pm. However, the individual may be asked to be available to work other days as needed.
