Trex Fencing FDS is the development and distribution partner for Trex, the world's leading outdoor living materials manufacturer, for its fencing line. We are an entrepreneurial company, growing rapidly, and looking for talented and committed individuals who enjoy selling and customer service.


We are seeking a candidate to work with consumer and business customers by responding to product inquiries and quote requests. The successful candidate will work closely with a team of outside sales reps and other client services account managers to ensure timely and expert responses and activity.


The position is based at our offices in Provo, UT. Travel requirements are rare to none. Because of the collaborative nature of our work, remote employment is not an option.

Full-time 8 AM- 5 PM Monday through Friday, located in Provo, Utah

Pay: From $20.00 per hour DOE


Some of your day-to-day tasks:

  • Interacting with a variety of customers such as Fence Contractors, Distributors, Homeowners/DIYers, Home Builders, Box Stores like Home Depot & Lowes, and more.
  • Responding to customer inquiries to promote product knowledge, build quotes, process orders, and communicate daily with customers by phone and email.
  • Reviewing project plans, and specifications (not difficult to learn) and pricing clients' fence projects.
  • Performing Proactive follow-up to client requests for information and quotes
  • Building and maintaining ongoing relationships with accounts and following up on their requests.
  • Investigating product claims and ensuring resolution of customer complaints per company policies.
  • Assisting with some business development activities via email, text messaging, social media, and phone calls.
  • Accurately entering and tracking customer interactions through our CRM system
  • Assisting and supporting field reps, if assigned to do so


Requirements:
  • Some college or relevant customer service work experience.
  • At least one year of experience in customer service, account management, or inside sales
  • Excellent communication skills are essential since most of the day consists of interacting with customers via email and phone
  • Must be proficient in office computing and familiar with a CRM


Education:

  • High School Diploma


Technical:

  • Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Microsoft Office: 2 years (Preferred)
  • CRM Systems: 6 months (Preferred)
