Job description

Sanitation Associate
Location: Suffolk
Pay: 15-16
Hours: 8am - 6pm, M- Th, and 8-12pm on Friday
We're looking for a detail-oriented, reliable Sanitation Associate to join our production facility team. If you take pride in a job well done and want to play a key role in keeping our food supply safe, we'd love to talk to you.
What You'll Do
As a Sanitation Associate, you are the backbone of our quality assurance team. You'll be responsible for deep-cleaning, washing, and sanitizing processing equipment and facility areas between production runs.

  • Clean & Sanitize Equipment: Safely disassemble, wash, sanitize, and reassemble roasting lines, conveyors, hoppers, packaging machinery, and stainless steel food contact surfaces.
  • Maintain Facility Cleanliness: Sweep, mop, squeegee, trash remove, and sanitize non-production areas including breakrooms, hallways, and storage spaces.
  • Chemical Safety: Safely mix, handle, and apply industrial cleaning chemicals and sanitizers according to strict safety guidelines.
  • Follow Quality Standards: Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs), USDA/FDA guidelines, and allergen control protocols (specifically peanut allergen management).
  • Inspect & Document: Perform visual inspections of cleaned equipment and complete daily sanitation logs accurately.
