Job description

Job Title: Electrical QA/QC Inspector
Location: Alexandria, VA
Work Schedule: Full-Time, 100% Onsite

Position Summary

Seeking an experienced Electrical QA/QC Inspector to support the installation, inspection, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems on a large commercial/healthcare construction project. The ideal candidate will have experience with electrical quality control, commissioning support, electrical testing, and construction documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Perform quality inspections of electrical installations.

  • Verify work complies with contract documents, NEC, and project specifications.

  • Review electrical drawings, one-line diagrams, and shop drawings.

  • Witness or support electrical testing, startup, commissioning, and turnover.

  • Coordinate with contractors, engineers, commissioning agents, and the project team.

  • Document deficiencies and verify corrective actions.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 4+ years of Electrical QA/QC or Electrical Inspection experience.

  • Experience with medium- and low-voltage electrical systems.

  • Familiarity with switchgear, transformers, generators, UPS, and ATS equipment.

  • Ability to read electrical drawings and specifications.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Commissioning or startup experience.

  • Experience with Megger testing, torque verification, or electrical acceptance testing.

  • Experience on healthcare, mission-critical, data center, laboratory, industrial, airport, or transit projects.

  • NFPA 70E training preferred.
