Job description


Quality Assurance Inspector
The Quality Assurance Inspector will support Counternarcotics (CN) and Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) programs. The position will review of all documentation and provide on-location audits as directed by the United States Government (USG). Travel may be required to the Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS) locations; travel will be at the direction of the USG. The length of each trip will vary depending on the type of audit, location, quantity of deliverables, or scope of services provided.
Compensation & Benefits:
Estimated Starting Salary Range for Quality Assurance Inspector: $85K
Pay commensurate with experience.
Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.
Quality Assurance Inspector Responsibilities Include:
  • Develop an audit plan for each audit to include checklists (submitted fifteen (15) calendar days prior to audit regardless if the employee or USG is performing the audit);
  • Properly file received documents within the provided file management plan within three (3) business days of receipt;
  • Provide an audit report within five (5) business days of return;
  • Provide recommendations and draft nonconformance documentation for the USG (for on-site audits and documentation/deliverable reviews);
  • Develop and maintain a deliverables tracker. The USG will provide the format and required fields.
  • Review all deliverables (documents), provide a brief synopsis identifying any/all non-conformances or changes, and recommend courses of action as applicable, within three (3) business days of receipt.
  • Assist the multi-function team in the development of requirements.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Quality Assurance Inspector Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
  • A minimum of an Associate's degree in Business Administration or an associated field.
  • A minimum of 15 years' auditing, quality control, and/or quality assurance experience, or 10 years' auditing, quality control, and/or quality assurance experience with successful completion of the 9001:2015 Lead Auditor Course.
  • OR 5 years' auditing, quality control, and/or quality assurance experience with an ASQ Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) certification in the following areas: auditing based on ISO 9001: 2015 requirements, auditing services and procurement contracts, job analysis, invoice auditing, risk based auditing, logistics auditing, service summary development, and critical analysis of PWS/SOW/SOO requirements.
  • Additionally, qualifications should clearly demonstrate that over 50% of past responsibilities aligned to auditing, quality control, and/or quality assurance activities within in the DoW.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Government acquisition platforms (e.g., SharePoint, SMT).
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills.
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
