Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated Warehouse Assistant to join our medical device division at Diversatek Healthcare in Milwaukee, WI. This entry-level role reports directly to the Distribution Manager and is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual eager to start a career in a regulated manufacturing environment. The Warehouse Assistant supports inventory accuracy, warehouse organization, and shipment documentation, while learning SyteLine ERP and Factory Track systems.
Position Qualifications
Required:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Professional, dependable, and eager to learn new skills
  • Strong organizational and communication abilities
  • Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, etc.)

Preferred:
  • Experience in retail, warehouse, or distribution settings
  • Familiarity with inventory management or point-of-sale systems

Additional:
  • Training in safety protocols or warehouse operations is a plus
Note: Qualifications will be reviewed through performance evaluations and tailored training plans designed to meet the specific requirements of a regulated medical device manufacturing environment.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Inventory Location & Organization:
  • Assist in mapping, labeling, and maintaining accurate inventory locations in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), FDA regulations, and internal procedures
  • Support regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
Receiving & Stock Processing:
  • Receive and verify incoming materials, ensuring correct documentation and regulatory compliance
  • Enter received goods and location data into SyteLine ERP
Order Fulfillment & Shipment Preparation:
  • Pick, prepare, and package orders for shipment, ensuring traceability and accurate documentation
  • Assist with preparing and reviewing international shipment documents as needed
Warehouse Operations:
  • Operate barcode scanners and Factory Track mobile devices for real-time inventory transactions
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment in accordance with OSHA and company standards
Collaboration & Communication:
  • Work closely with warehouse staff, production, and customer service teams to resolve order holds or missing information (e.g., contact details, account numbers)
  • Support process improvement and continuous training initiatives
Compliance & Documentation:
  • Ensure all product storage, labeling, and documentation meet regulatory and company requirements
  • Maintain accurate records of all inventory movements and transactions
General Duties:
  • Perform general warehouse maintenance, including cleaning, labeling, and organizing to ensure a safe and compliant work environment
Physical Demands
  • Frequently required to walk, bend, stoop, balance, and stand for extended periods
  • Use arms and hands to reach, pull, push, clasp, and move materials
  • Regularly lift and move up to 25 pounds; frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds
  • May operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment (training provided)
Limits of Authority
  • Label incoming materials with part and lot numbers for traceability
  • Report and document material or process discrepancies to management
  • Reject or escalate shipments that lack proper documentation or compliance
