Job Description & Responsibilities

As a Restaurant Manager you own and are responsible for your area of focus and additionally, to partner with the Human Resource Director. You are expected to run daily reports including labor and speed, run breaks, execute catering orders, assist in running operations, and ensure remarkable customer service. A successful Manager must be mature, patient, and professional with a growth mindset at all times. In addition to these qualities you are required to possess a desire and willingness to develop your team by providing feedback to team members, leaders, and future leaders, while being confident enough to coach awareness and provide/receive constructive criticism to/from your fellow co-workers and leaders. You must enthusiastically and passionately lead by example, with integrity to build and develop a strong team with a standard of excellence.


Manager Duties and Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):

Be purposeful in living out the Create Raving Fan Strategy, which includes:

  • Work with the Leadership team to execute the business strategy
  • Execute Operational Excellence:
  • Speed of Service, Accuracy of Order, Attentive & Courteous & Cleanliness
  • Drive Second Mile Service (2MS) by Delivering WOW Experiences
  • Go beyond everyday expectations by anticipating needs
  • Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
  • Partner with Human Resource Director to oversee and lead all Back of House operations
  • Follow Chick-fil-A's operational policies and procedures as well as other duties as assigned
  • Achieve business results through focus and action on tactical objectives and tasks
  • Run day-to-day shift operations including ensuring breaks are given, positions are filled and guests are served.
  • Must love working in a team environment and building strong effective teams
  • Hold team members accountable through effective coaching and communication
  • Treats all team members with respect while providing them with direction and feedback (on the job & performance evaluations)
  • Complete understanding of each key position in both the front and back of the store; Verifies completion of all operational assessment tools & controls.
  • Awareness and understanding of restaurant tools & systems (not limited to: Produce Ordering, Truck Ordering, End of Month, Daily Inventory)
  • Work with shift leaders that can open/close for your area of focus by creating systems and processes that allow you to ensure tasks are completed while not being in the restaurant.
  • Identify, Train & Develop leadership bench capable of opening/closing your area of the business
  • Partner with the Management Team to continuously improve kitchen operations.
