Skilled trades that require specialized training and licensing tend to have higher earning potential, particularly for those working overtime or in commercial and industrial settings.

What professions make 200,000 a year without a degree?

In high-paying trades, roles such as commercial pilot, elevator installer, and power plant operator can earn $200,000 or more annually, often requiring specialized training, certifications, or apprenticeships rather than a traditional college degree. Skilled trades like these typically involve hands-on work, technical knowledge, and sometimes union membership or licensing to reach top earnings.

What are the fastest growing trades?

The fastest growing trades are skilled professions that are experiencing high demand and rapid job growth. Examples include electricians, plumbers, HVAC technicians, solar panel installers, and wind turbine technicians. These roles are expanding quickly due to factors like infrastructure upgrades, renewable energy investments, and a shortage of skilled workers. Many of these trades offer strong job security, solid wages, and opportunities for advancement without requiring a four-year college degree.

What are some of the most common challenges faced by professionals entering a rapidly growing trade, and how can they prepare for success?

Professionals entering fast-growing trades often face challenges such as quickly adapting to new technologies, keeping up with evolving industry standards, and managing a high demand for skilled labor. To prepare for success, job seekers should invest in ongoing training, seek apprenticeships or mentorships, and stay informed about the latest industry trends. Networking with experienced colleagues and joining trade associations can also provide valuable support and learning opportunities, helping newcomers build confidence and advance their careers.

What trade is growing the fastest?

The fastest-growing trades include solar photovoltaic installers, wind turbine technicians, and healthcare-related roles such as home health aides. These fields are expanding due to technological advancements, increased demand for renewable energy, and an aging population, often requiring specialized skills and certifications. Job growth in these areas is expected to continue at a rapid pace over the next decade.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in one of the fastest growing trades, such as solar photovoltaic (PV) installer, and why are they important?

To thrive as a solar photovoltaic (PV) installer, you need a basic understanding of electrical systems, mechanical aptitude, and a high school diploma or equivalent, with some employers preferring additional vocational training. Familiarity with hand and power tools, safety protocols, and industry certifications such as OSHA or NABCEP are commonly required. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication help installers work efficiently and safely, often as part of a team. These skills and qualifications are crucial for ensuring safe, high-quality solar installations in a rapidly evolving and physically demanding field.

Who You Are:

The TPM Administrator is responsible for the integrity, accuracy, and control of Trade Promotion Management (TPM) data within XTEL TPM. This role serves as a key control point ensuring trade events are set up correctly, deadlines are met, system access is governed appropriately, and audit requirements are upheld. The position partners closely with Trade Finance, Customer Planning, RGM, Sales, and the Deductions team to ensure highquality TPM execution and compliance.
This is a controloriented role, focused on system accuracy, governance, and process adherence rather than promotional strategy or analytics.

What You're Good At:

TPM System Integrity & Controls

  • Review and validate TPM events in XTEL to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.

  • Enforce deadlines for promotion and event entry to support timely accruals, close processes, and reporting.

  • Perform ongoing control checks to identify errors, inconsistencies, or process gaps within TPM.

  • Support SOX, audit, and internal control requirements related to trade spend and TPM data integrity.

Governance & Access Management

  • Manage TPM system access, roles, and permissions in alignment with internal control standards.

  • Serve as a gatekeeper for TPM process adherence and system usage.

CrossFunctional Collaboration

  • Partner with:

  • Customer Planning & Sales to ensure promotions are entered correctly and on time.

  • Trade Finance on accrual accuracy, trade spend integrity, and audit readiness.

  • RGM on trade structure and event alignment.

  • Deductions Team to support issue resolution tied to TPM execution.

  • Act as a point of escalation for TPM data or process issues.

Training & Enablement

  • Provide TPM system training and guidance to users to reinforce best practices and standard processes.

  • Create and maintain documentation related to TPM processes, controls, and system usage.

What You Contribute:

  • 3-5 years of experience in Trade Promotion Management, Trade Finance, or related roles.

  • CPG industry experience is required.

  • Handson experience with TPM systems; XTEL TPM experience strongly preferred.

  • Strong understanding of trade promotion processes, accruals, and controls.

  • High proficiency in Excel.

  • Experience supporting audits, SOX controls, or internal control frameworks related to trade spend.

  • Experience working crossfunctionally with Sales, Finance, RGM, and Deductions teams.
