As Unlimited Supplies continues to expand operations in Minnesota — including plans for an additional facility in the Minneapolis / St. Paul Market — this position offers an exciting opportunity to join a growing organization with strong long-term potential.
Key Responsibilities

  • Support customer production operations through planned inventory replenishment, fastener programs, and long-term supply solutions
  • Work with customers to anticipate usage demands, forecast inventory needs, and help prevent production downtime
  • Identify opportunities for vendor-managed inventory (VMI) and other value-added inventory solutions
  • Prospect and develop new business opportunities throughout the Minneapolis / St. Paul market
  • Conduct customer visits, follow-up communication, and ongoing account support
  • Coordinate closely with purchasing, warehouse, and operations teams to ensure reliable product availability and on-time delivery
  • Assist customers with product sourcing, substitutions, and technical support
  • Maintain accurate records of customer activity, quotes, inventory programs, and sales opportunities
  • Represent Unlimited Supplies professionally within the industrial and manufacturing community
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in industrial sales, fasteners, manufacturing support, distribution, or B2B customer service preferred
  • Experience supporting high-volume or production-based customers strongly preferred
  • Understanding of inventory management, planned purchasing, or production supply environments is a plus
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to develop new business opportunities independently
  • Mechanical aptitude or familiarity with industrial products preferred
  • Comfortable working both in the field and in a team-oriented environment
  • Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and email systems
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
What We Offer
  • Competitive compensation based on experience (base + commission)
  • Opportunity for career growth within a growing organization
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Paid time off and holidays
  • 401(k) with company match

About Mid-states Bolt & Screw

Sourced by ZipRecruiter

Mid-States Bolt & Screw Company is a place where every bolt and fastener imaginable is virtually at your fingertips. If you can’t find it here, you can’t find it anywhere!! That was the vison and goal of our founder, Herb Somers. Herb started Mid-States Bolt & Screw Co. in his basement in 1972. Within one year Herb’s home-based business grew so rapidly that he was able to move Mid-States Bolt & Screw out of his home and into a storefront on Dort Highway in Flint, Michigan. From that point forward, Mid-States Bolt & Screw Company has been securely fastened as an integral part of our community. We have grown from selling mail order wood screws into a multistate Corporation and established ourselves as the cultural foundation of the fastener business. Mid-States still has the close family feel even though we continue to grow and expand our borders. Hiring the right people plays a vital role in that constant success. When you have happy employees, you will have happy customers. Mid-States knows that you can teach anyone about fasteners and bolts, but having an employee who can connect with a customer is something that is an instinct. Here at Mid-States Bolt & Screw, we firmly believe in building a bridge between our employees and the customers. It is not something that can be fabricated, but grown with years of constant care.
