Job description

Since our inception in 2017, Purple has been on a mission to redefine denim culture. Blending industrial design, streetwear, and luxury fashion, we've curated a collection of men's denim and luxury basics that transcend trends. At Purple, we take pride in challenging conventions through design that is grounded in a contemporary spirit and timeless quality.
Purple is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Public Relations Intern to support our in-house Public Relations team. We are looking for candidates who are eager to learn and are passionate about luxury fashion and streetwear.
As the PR Intern, you will support sample trafficking, influencer and VIP gifting, media monitoring, and seasonal initiatives. This is an ideal opportunity for students looking to gain real-world experience in brand communications, influencer marketing, and product placement within the luxury and contemporary fashion industry.
To qualify for this internship, you must:
  • Be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program and eligible to receive academic credit
  • Be available to work on-site 2-3 days per week
  • Be able to commit to the Fall 2026 academic semester (approximately September-December 2026), with a minimum commitment of 3-4 months

Additional skills:
Candidates should be organized, detail-oriented, and dependable, with strong verbal and written communication skills. A demonstrated interest in fashion PR, influencer marketing, and media is preferred. Familiarity with Launchmetrics (Fashion GPS) and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) is an asset.
Your responsibilities during the internship will include:
  • Assisting with sample trafficking, including check-ins/outs, packaging, and inventory management
  • Supporting influencer and VIP gifting initiatives, including coordinating send-outs and tracking shipments
  • Monitoring social media and digital platforms for brand mentions, influencer content, and press coverage
  • Researching industry trends, media contacts, influencers, and VIP talent
  • Assisting in the preparation of weekly and monthly press reports and internal recaps
  • Maintaining and updating internal databases for stylists, influencers, and partners
  • Supporting showroom operations, including organizing samples and assisting with appointments and fittings
  • Assisting with event logistics, brand activations, and presentations as needed

Internship details:
  • Fall 2026 internship (approximately September-December 2026)

  • This is an unpaid internship and is available only to students receiving academic credit
  • A daily lunch stipend will be provided for each working day on-site
  • Opportunity to gain hands-on experience in fashion PR, influencer strategy, and media placement
  • Exposure to showroom appointments, brand events, and industry professionals
