Job description

Fire Sprinkler Inspector

We are seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Service Inspector to join our team. In this role, you will conduct inspections in accordance with NFPA 25 and NFPA 72 (when applicable) for a variety of clients and national accounts. The ideal candidate brings strong technical knowledge of fire protection systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform fire sprinkler inspections and services across client sites, ensuring compliance with NFPA 25.
  • Schedule inspections with clients and complete all work in a timely manner.
  • Accurately file electronic inspection reports and paperwork.
  • Build and maintain relationships with Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs) to support compliance.
  • Troubleshoot basic fire alarm issues, including silencing and resetting panels.
  • Follow company safety standards while operating tools and equipment.
  • Uphold the company mission: Protecting lives and property while building lifelong relationships with our team and customers.

Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on fire sprinkler service experience.
  • FASA certification.
  • Backflow certification.
  • NICET Level II or equivalent in water-based systems.
  • Strong knowledge of backflow, wet, dry, and pre-action systems, fire pumps, controllers, and alarm devices.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Proficiency with office hardware, software, and electronic reporting tools.
