Job description

We are seeking an experienced commercial fire alarm technician to join our growing team. This position focuses on the inspection, testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial fire alarm systems in accordance with NFPA codes and local AHJ requirements. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while delivering excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:

  • Perform inspection, testing, troubleshooting and maintenance of all types of commercial fire alarm systems
  • Complete accurate inspection reports and service documentation
  • Ensure systems comply with NFPA 72, local fire codes, and manufacturer specifications
  • Communicate professionally with customers, building management, and fire marshals
  • Identify deficiencies and recommend corrective actions
  • Maintain company tools, vehicle, and inventory
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Requirements:
-Minimum 2+ years of experience installing, inspection, testing, and servicing commercial fire alarm systems.
-Strong working knowledge of NFPA 72, NFPA 70, local fire codes, and AHJ requirements.
-Skilled in troubleshooting system faults, wiring issues, and device failures.
-Strong communication skills and professional customer service demeanor.
-Valid drivers license with clean driving record.
-Ability to pass background check and drug screening
-Fasa/Basa within the last 5 years.
-Reliable transportation to and from work
