Department Summary

The Department of Learning Technologies focuses on enhancing learning and performance through innovative research, teaching, and service. This includes learning technology, information, language, and computing technologies to advance learning, training, cognitive development, and human performance.
UNT has a highly diverse campus with a wide range of languages spoken in addition to English. We welcome candidates who have experience with HSI/MSIs and/or who speak Spanish, Vietnamese, American Sign Language, Chinese (Cantonese, Mandarin and other variations), Arabic, Tagalog, Farsi, French, or/and Yoruba.

Position Overview

The Department of Learning Technologies seeks qualified individuals for its Adjunct Instructor pool and welcomes applicants on a rolling basis. The specific courses offered can change each semester, and opportunities to teach these courses arise periodically based on the department's teaching requirements. The department of Learning Technologies seeks qualified individuals for its Adjunct pool for Fall 2026, Spring 2027, and Summer 2027.

Minimum Qualifications

Master's degree with a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in the concentration of Learning Technologies or closely related field.

Preferred Qualifications

Doctorate in Learning Technologies, Learning Sciences, Instructional Systems Design, or related fields. Preferred: college teaching experience (in-person and online) and experience teaching undergraduate or Master's level Learning Technologies courses.
