Farm Store Operations Coordinator

What you will do:
The Farm Store Operations Coordinator is a courteous, helpful, outgoing individual with an extraordinary talent for multi-tasking. This position will support the farm store, providing initiative-taking support to leadership and staff by using sound business judgement to plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload in a challenging environment. The Farm Store Operations Coordinator maintains Tillamook's Shared Values while wearing multiple hats supporting both our internal teams and our guests. The Farm Store Operations Coordinator keeps the Farm Store A/R & A/P process up to by processing in-house corrections, billing corrections and collecting past-due invoices.Processes collection of past due to accounts receivable evaluates and corrects order desk billing errors, and reviews and processes. Assists with Inventory, marketing, and advertising as well. Responsible for accurate inventory counts by category and ensuring all inventory equipment is updated and maintained while running at full operating potential. Success in this role requires a positive "can do" approach to business.
Here's a day in the life:
  • Process new customer setups.
  • Review past due invoices. Work with AP and customer for payment resolution. Research discrepancies and process in-house corrections.
  • Answer phones, greet customers and guests, process mail, photocopy, and scan as needed, and facilitate office correspondence distribution.
  • Enter POS Transfers
  • Complete Inventory Counts.
  • Develop signage, advertisments, letters, post cards and coupons.
  • Enter, maintain and adjust information in our store operating system.
  • Counting inventory by category and maintaining accuracy of the counts
  • Operate scan guns and work with EPICOR to ensure all required updates are completed with sense of urgency.
  • Serve as the Assistant to Farm Store Manager and Assistant Manager.
  • Letter writing; calendar/ schedule management; answering/ directing phone calls; miscellaneous correspondence and small projects.
  • Run errands and complete misc duties as needed/necessary.
  • Maintaining an effective filing system for documents and records.
  • Generate month end reports.
  • Communicate effectively and to establish and maintain effective relationships with employees, supervisors and the general public and be able to interact with staff at all levels of the company.
  • Utilize a computer with intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint. Concur (SAP) preferred. ERP system knowledge is required; MS Navision (NAV) is preferred.
  • Work under pressure, meet deadlines and be flexible in working on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrate excellent time-management skills with the ability to work independently with little supervision

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
  • A high school diploma is required. An associate degree in accounting or related field is preferred. A bachelor's degree in accounting or related field is a plus.
  • 3+ years of experience in accounting and using computerized accounting software
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs
