Summary:

The Operations Specialist provides operational support for Farm Management Services.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Provides scanning assistance and other duties as assigned
  • Sorts mail and delivers or scans to staff
  • Edits and tracks farm manager field reports
  • Prepares and tracks farm lease signing
    • Tracks changes and makes sure property description and terms are correct
    • Verifies all leases have been signed and updates management as needed
    • Entry of lease information and cash rents into First Farm
    • Implementation of electronic document signing and assist with creation
  • Prepares and tracks cash rent invoicing for tenants
  • Assists with data review and comparative analysis of farm operations
    • Extract data for analysis
    • Prepare reports and work with farm management officers to document process
    • Track annual review process
  • Responsible for focused marketing of new customers
    • Seek out new customers by utilizing online parcel search and other resources
    • Focused mailings to potential clients identified
    • Tracks mailings, response rate and follow-ups to marketing efforts
    • Point of contact for potential new clients which will be assigned to a Farm Management officer / officers for additional follow-up
    • Tracking and potential use of CRM system for future reminders for follow-up
    • Research of Conferences and additional opportunities for Farm Management marketing
    • Development of marketing materials with input of Farm Management Officers
