THE TEAM
The Fan-Based Marketing team partners with stakeholders across Live Nation Concerts, Ticketmaster, and Sponsorship to build targeted marketing solutions that support fan engagement and business initiatives. The team focuses on developing and piloting new marketing technologies and delivering scalable solutions for sponsorship and corporate programs, all aimed at enhancing the fan journey before and after events by delivering the right message at the right time through the right channels, ultimately creating more personalized and impactful live event experiences.
THE ROLE
Live Nation Entertainment is looking for a talented, highly motivated, creative and passionate Senior Full Stack Engineer who loves building, shipping, and iterating quickly. You'll play a key role in turning ambiguous business problems into robust, production-ready solutions. This is an opportunity to influence product direction and work across the technology stack in a highly collaborative environment.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in both back-end and front-end development, owning and evolving meaningful parts of products and their underlying systems. As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you will take a leadership role in designing and implementing scalable, high-performance solutions. This role will be focused on shipping features end-to-end - design, implementation, deployment, and ongoing maintenance - along with contributing to architectural and technical decisions as the products mature.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO:
  • Take ownership of data pipelines, integrations, and marketing automation features from requirements through production deployment with minimal supervision
  • Design, build, and optimize scalable solutions using Databricks and AWS that integrate marketing platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud) and third-party APIs to support targeted fan engagement campaigns
  • Lead technical design discussions, participate in code reviews, and act as a subject matter resource for the team on marketing automation and data integration
  • Monitor production systems, troubleshoot issues across distributed environments, and participate in on-call rotation
  • Proactively identify and drive improvements to system performance, scalability, and reliability; reduce technical debt and operational overhead
  • Document technical designs, data flows, and troubleshooting procedures to support team knowledge sharing

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING:
  • 5+ years of professional software development experience and a track record of building impactful products or systems
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and evolving requirements
  • Demonstrates intellectual curiosity and willingness to contribute ideas and technical opinions during solution design
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies and comfort working across multiple platforms and tools
  • Comfort working within an Agile software development lifecycle (e.g. Scrum, Kanban)
  • Proficiency with modern version control systems (e.g. Github, Gitlab), software development workflows, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with developing system architectures using Amazon Web Services
  • Strong back-end development experience using Java, Python, and SQL
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and architecture principles
  • Strong experience with relational databases, including:
    o Writing complex SQL queries
    o Designing and optimizing database schemas
  • Experience leveraging RESTful APIs and scalable service-oriented architectures
  • Experience building data pipelines, ETL processes, or system integrations in production environments
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud is a plus
  • Experience using HTML and CSS is a plus
  • Experience working with Databricks or similar data processing platforms is a plus
