Job description

Family Ties provides intensive in-home, clinic, school & community based mental health services to families and clients that need them the most. Our clinical team consistent of Mental Health Therapists of varying licensure status, Assessors, Paraprofessionals, Nurses & other therapy providers. We are actively growing and looking to hire an experienced Recruiter to lead the effort in identifying top clinical talent to join our team!
Responsibilities
The Medical Nurse will perform professional nursing duties, including nursing assessment documentation, physical assessments/vitals, medication review and prior authorization (PA) form completions.
The Nurse also will manage, instruct and educate mentally and emotionally disabled clients. He/she will work with child, adolescent, and adult clients. Nurse will also interact with parents/guardians. The Nurse also will work closely with a Psychiatrist and/or Nurse Practitioner to assess each client's medication compliance and any additional needs.
Position Requirements
  • Three to five years of prior nursing/clinical mental health nursing experience.
  • Registered Nursing License in the state of Georgia.
  • Prior Mental Health and/or prior Authorization experience

Additional non billable tasks/responsibilities on Mondays and Fridays (Prior authorizations, documentation requests)
