Position Overview

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our accomplished care team at Do It For Yourself Wellness & Marriage & Family Counseling. This full-time, remote position offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive therapeutic services to individuals and families in need, focusing primarily on divorce and relationship counseling while incorporating evidence-based therapies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to evaluate their mental health status, focusing on the frequency, intensity, and duration of mood disorder symptoms.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans that address the individual goals, preferences, and requirements of clients, ensuring they are actively involved in their therapy journey.
  • Utilize evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively address client challenges.
  • Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and valuable self-care practices, empowering them with knowledge and skills.
  • Monitor and document client progress through regular assessments, adjusting treatment plans as needed based on ongoing evaluations.
  • Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to provide integrated care and comprehensive support to clients.
  • Stay informed about the latest research on mood disorders to continually enhance treatment strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • Possession of a current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

Compensation and Benefits

We offer an attractive salary range of USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, which is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
