We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our accomplished care team at Do It For Yourself Wellness & Marriage & Family Counseling. This full-time, remote position offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive therapeutic services to individuals and families in need, focusing primarily on divorce and relationship counseling while incorporating evidence-based therapies.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to evaluate their mental health status, focusing on the frequency, intensity, and duration of mood disorder symptoms.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that address the individual goals, preferences, and requirements of clients, ensuring they are actively involved in their therapy journey.
• Utilize evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively address client challenges.
• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and valuable self-care practices, empowering them with knowledge and skills.
• Monitor and document client progress through regular assessments, adjusting treatment plans as needed based on ongoing evaluations.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to provide integrated care and comprehensive support to clients.
• Stay informed about the latest research on mood disorders to continually enhance treatment strategies.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records, adhering strictly to legal and ethical standards.
• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development workshops to strengthen clinical skills.
• Advocate for mental health awareness, striving to reduce stigma and improve accessibility of mental health resources for clients.

This position specifically targets individuals and families seeking help with relationship issues, including divorce concerns and mood disorders. • Possession of a current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
• A strong capacity to build trusting therapeutic relationships, showcasing excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Empathy and a non-judgmental approach to client experiences and challenges.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively while balancing administrative duties.

• Experience in structural family therapy, strategic therapy, narrative therapy, or systems therapy.
• Previous work in a community health clinic setting is a plus.
• Experience advocating for mental health issues and participation in community outreach initiatives.

We offer an attractive salary range of USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, which is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
