What You'll Do
As a Family Services Coordinator, you'll build meaningful relationships with children and families, helping them access resources, overcome challenges, and achieve their goals. You'll serve as a trusted partner, connecting families to supports that promote stability, well-being, and success while ensuring children have the opportunities they need to thrive.
In this role, you will:
  • Recruit and enroll children and families into Head Start programs and maintain full enrollment.
  • Partner with families to identify strengths, set goals, and develop individualized family partnership plans.
  • Conduct home visits and provide ongoing support, advocacy, and follow-up services.
  • Connect families with community resources, health services, and other supports to meet their unique needs.
  • Encourage parent engagement and participation in program activities, leadership opportunities, and decision-making groups.
  • Build strong relationships with community agencies and collaborate to support children and families.
  • Plan and facilitate family education activities, workshops, and events.
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and program data.
  • Work closely with program staff to support children's attendance, well-being, and overall success.

Requirements
What We'll Love About You:
  • Associates Degree or equivalent credits in Human or Family Services or a related field and one year experience in Human Service field is required.
  • Must have a working knowledge of computers.
  • This job requires travel.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Human Services or related field is preferred.
