Quality Multi-Family Manager

Company:

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Quality Multifamily Manager (Level K) to join the 777 CI&R Quality team in Everett, WA on 1st shift.

This position will be responsible for management of the 777 CI&R Quality Core team comprised of Quality Systems Specialists who provide Program and Quality Leadership with Data and Analytics.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages salaried team providing data, analysis, and insights to program and functional leadership.

  • Works cross functionally to develop and maintain automated reports and KPIs.

  • Monitors KPIs to identify potential risks and issues.

  • Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies to improve performance.

  • Provides education and coaching on the Quality and Safety Management System.

  • Acquires and manages resources and leads process improvements.

  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports.

  • Manages, develops and motivates employees.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3 + years of proficiency-level experience in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

  • 1 + years of experience in Quality Management System (QMS)

  • 1 + years of experience with Safety Management System (SMS)

  • Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course "Exploring Leadership"

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience within aerospace/defense supply chains.

  • Experience managing supplier transitions, change management, or supplier development programs

  • Demonstrated record of implementing successful supplier improvement plans

  • Experience managing multicultural suppliers, teams and stakeholders

Typical Education & Experience:

  • College degree or equivalent preferred.
