Job description

Krippa Family Psychological & Wellness Services is seeking a full-time therapist to join our Cary, NC practice. This is a W-2 position with an immediate opportunity to build a full caseload in an established multidisciplinary private practice.

We are looking for a clinician who genuinely enjoys working with children and adolescents and wants to be part of a collaborative practice where individualized clinical care is valued.


ABOUT THE POSITION

The clinician will provide outpatient therapy to children, adolescents, and families and will also have the opportunity to participate in our adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP).

Our adolescent programming incorporates DBT skills, CBT, experiential interventions, movement, and other developmentally appropriate approaches. Previous DBT experience is preferred but is not required for the right candidate.


The position is based in our Cary office and requires afternoon and some evening availability to accommodate children and adolescents.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide individual psychotherapy to children and adolescents
  • Provide parent and family interventions as clinically appropriate
  • Complete assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and other required clinical documentation
  • Participate in adolescent IOP programming and groups
  • Collaborate with other clinicians and members of our multidisciplinary team
  • Communicate professionally with parents, schools, physicians, and other treatment providers when appropriate
  • Maintain ethical and professional standards consistent with licensure requirements


QUALIFICATIONS

Applicants must have a master's or doctoral degree in counseling, marriage and family therapy, or psychology.

Candidates must be licensed or eligible for appropriate North Carolina licensure. We welcome applications from both fully licensed and associate-level clinicians, including:

  • LCMHC / LCMHCA
  • LMFT / LMFTA
  • LP / LPA


Experience working with children and adolescents is required.

Experience or training in DBT, play therapy, trauma treatment, family therapy, or other evidence-based approaches for children and adolescents is a plus.

Our multidisciplinary practice provides individual, family and group therapy, adolescent intensive outpatient services, psychological evaluations, and medication management.
