About Our Family
We just welcomed our newest member to the family, and are overjoyed to now be a family of five. Our home includes three children and a gentle, older dog who brings plenty of love to our everyday life. We cherish the little moments-morning routines, playtime, working out, and cozy evenings together-and are excited to find someone who can help us make these days run even more smoothly.
With monthly family travel back and forth to NJ, we are looking forward to welcoming someone who can not only keep our home organized and flowing but also offer occasional support during trips. This extra help allows us to be fully present with each other, whether we're at home or on the move.
Our days are full and lively, but we value rhythm and balance. One parent works a hybrid schedule and travels occasionally, and we are lucky to have supportive family nearby. Still, with a newborn and a busy household, having an extra set of hands makes a world of difference. We would love support in areas like laundry, meal prep, tidying, and assistance with family travel, helping our days feel lighter, smoother, and more manageable.
We are seeking someone who brings warmth, positivity, and a calm presence into our home. We value proactive communication, creativity in problem-solving, and someone who can anticipate what needs to be done. The right person will step in as a trusted partner-someone who takes initiative, reads the room, and helps keep our household running effortlessly-while adding joy and ease to our family life.
Who You Are / What We're Looking For
You bring a calm, positive energy into a busy household and take joy in helping daily routines run smoothly, creating a sense of ease and balance for everyone in the home. We are looking for someone who is warm, loving, and playful with children, yet also organized, professional, and self-directed.
You are naturally proactive rather than reactive. You notice what needs attention-whether it's laundry, meal prep, tidying, dog care, or preparing for travel-and take ownership of tasks without needing constant direction. You find satisfaction in making the home feel organized, welcoming, and cared for, anticipating needs before they arise.
You have high standards for cleanliness and organization, balanced with a practical approach that keeps the household efficient without feeling rigid. You are systems-oriented, able to create simple, consistent routines that allow the family to function smoothly and enjoy more quality time together.
You are flexible and adaptable, able to adjust to changing schedules, read the energy in the home, and provide support wherever it is most needed. You are friendly, personable, and approachable, while also respecting boundaries and maintaining professionalism at all times.
Above all, you are discreet, trustworthy, and dependable-someone the family can rely on fully to care for both their home and their children with thoughtfulness, warmth, and competence, making life feel lighter and more manageable for everyone.
