Elmington Construction is a Nashville-based general contractor and construction management company providing comprehensive residential and commercial services with a partnership approach. We specialize in affordable and multi-family housing and have completed 22 projects with 18 more under construction in states across the US.
Our experienced leadership team understands market dynamics and has refined our processes to minimize typical construction conflicts, delivering exceptional results that provide clients confidence and peace of mind throughout their journey with the Elmington family.
All activities will be performed in support of the values of Elmington Construction.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Fall Internship with Elmington Construction.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and leadership.
  • Outstanding organizational skills to manage multiple priorities, tasks, and deadlines efficiently.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Assist in putting together budgets.
  • Subcontractor coordination and supervision.
  • Project document and shop drawing review.
  • Correspondence with the architect and engineers.
  • Quality control inspections.
  • Progress tracking, documentation, and administrative duties.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
SPECIFIC EDUCATION OR EXPERIENCE:
  • Some college experience
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Up to 10% travel
