As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive initial assessments to evaluate clients' mental health status and specific needs.
• Collaborating with clients to develop and implement personalized treatment plans that reflect their goals and challenges.
• Providing individual therapy sessions to adult clients, incorporating evidence-based practices and solution-focused techniques.
• Engaging in crisis intervention as needed, offering immediate support to clients in distress.
• Utilizing teletherapy tools for virtual sessions to ensure accessibility and convenience for clients.
• Participating in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and stay current with mental health best practices.

Your work will primarily involve supporting adults facing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Our diverse clientele benefits from the various therapeutic approaches that our therapists are free to employ, allowing for individualized, client-centered care. The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• A valid and current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively, ensuring timely delivery of services to clients.

• Experience in teletherapy or virtual counseling settings.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic approaches and techniques.
• Previous work in community health clinics or similar environments is a plus.
