What are FAI?

FAI stands for First Article Inspection, which is a process used in manufacturing and quality assurance. It involves the inspection and verification of the first item produced in a production run to ensure that it meets all required specifications and standards. The purpose of FAI is to catch any issues early, verify that production processes are set up correctly, and ensure consistent quality throughout the run. This is especially important in industries like aerospace, automotive, and electronics where precision is critical.
