We are currently seeking a Factory Director Senior Leader for our NEW Virginia, city of South Boston manufacturing plant. The role will be located in Virginia in city of South Boston and full relocation will be offered. The location is 90 minutes from Raleigh/Durham. The role is a $500MM greenfield project, with construction starting later this month. This new plant will be adjacent to other operating plants and form a large manufacturing campus. The role manages all aspects related to operations of a manufacturing unit including the full scope ofHealth, Safety & Environment,Production, Engineering, Project Management andProduction Scheduling. Accountable forsafety, quality,on time delivery, inventory, and cost.

Responsibilities:

  • Manageoverallmanufacturingoperationsof the organization anda staffinvolved inthe operations of the factory,including SEOP process.
  • Implements continuous improvement methodologies to increase productivity and reduce costsfollowing the Integrated Transformer Management(ITM)System.
  • Provide a safe and healthy environment for employees.Ensures compliance with Group health,safetyand environmental directives and that regulations are implemented, whilemonitoringand reporting progress and results. Assesses risks and safety hazards and implements plans to ensure people and equipment safety. Instills in work culture (ITM) philosophy of how we operate
  • Develops and executes plans to reduce non-value-addedcosts, increase revenue, and delight customers by delivering products on time with high factory and supplier yields and decreasing product field failure rates. Ensures thatITM maturity developmenttraining and methods are implemented into the organization.
  • Demonstrate unquestionable business ethics and conduct.
  • Knowledge, Skills, Experience:
  • Engineering//technical undergraduate degree,MBA Preferred
  • Overall16 years of experience with minimum of 7 years leadership experience. Transformer experience preferred.

  • Target base compensation: $200 - 230K plus incentive and allowances
