Stage 2 Facility Management

Seattle, WA

Job description

Who is Stage 2 Facility Management?

Stage 2 Facility Management is founded on three core ideas: the quality of the spaces we enter shape the way we feel, the people that we share these spaces with shape the way we live, and we can do something to help bring these spaces alive and keep them thriving. We serve single to multi location operations; in other words, we help the surgery center director, the veterinary hospital surgeon, the dentist, and the biotech facility operator focus on what matters to them: growing their business, taking care of their people first, and excelling at what they do.

We make sure our clients have a beautiful, functional, and above all a safe and compliant space to do what they do best. We don’t take ourselves too seriously, we deliver above and beyond, and we focus on what’s important: helping the dynamic spaces that help make our world better.

What is the Role?

It could be troubleshooting a minor plumbing issue, patching drywall, fixing door hardware, hanging photos, cleaning a spill, responding first to a broken water line, boarding a broken window, or changing a light bulb. Facility Technicians could work at a number of different sites and for different clients. On a daily basis the role brings new challenges, new environments, and new people to meet and build relationships with. Facility Technicians at Stage 2 FM bring the best to not just the companies we serve but also people we work with every day.

All facility and engineering roles at Stage 2 Facility Management are on the ground, in person, and in the spaces we serve.

  • Curiosity to understand how things work and how to make them better, faster
  • A desire to be organized and use time efficiently
  • An independent doer
  • Willingness to receive feedback from direct reports, managers, and Clients constructively, turning that feedback into generative, collaborative, and appropriately responsive action
  • Leads staff with trust, high expectations, and constructive coaching

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and move comfortably in active or temperature-sensitive environments

  • Assist with compliance-related documentation and ensure logs are maintained for inspections, PMs, and repairs
  • Partner with the facility teams to quickly resolve issues that could impact occupant experience
  • Keep work areas—including mechanical rooms, rooftops, and back-of-house areas—clean, organized, and aligned with code and safety standards
