ABOUT US.

Lenawee Christian Ministries provides Christ-centered education, spiritual development, and wellness services to the Lenawee County community, centered around Jesus Christ. The ministry is made up of two operating entities: Lenawee Christian School and the Christian Family Centre, located in Adrian, MI.

  • Lenawee Christian School exists in partnership with the family and church to integrate Biblical truth for life with a commitment to glorifying Jesus Christ through academic excellence and spiritual maturity.

POSITION SUMMARY.

The Facility Supervisor is responsible for overseeing facility operations during assigned shifts, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for members, guests, staff, and volunteers. This role provides on-site supervision, supports daily operations, and serves as a key point of contact for resolving issues and responding to emergencies.

The Facility Supervisor models Christ-centered hospitality while maintaining operational awareness and supporting a high-quality member experience.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES.

Facility Operations & Oversight

  • Provide active supervision of facility operations during assigned shifts.
  • Maintain visibility throughout the facility and remain informed of scheduled programs and events.
  • Ensure all areas are safe, clean, and operating effectively.
  • Support proper execution of opening and closing procedures.

Guest Experience & Engagement

  • Create a welcoming and positive environment for members and guests.
  • Engage with patrons of all ages in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Address questions, concerns, and minor conflicts in a respectful, Christ-centered way.

Safety, Incident Response & Compliance

  • Serve as a primary responder for facility incidents and emergencies.
  • Administer First Aid, CPR, and AED support as needed.
  • Complete accurate and timely incident and accident reports.
  • Escalate significant issues to leadership in accordance with policy.

Staff & Volunteer Support

  • Provide support and direction to staff and volunteers (VIPs) during shifts.
  • Assist with ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and safety expectations.
  • Communicate operational concerns and staffing needs to leadership.

Operational Support

  • Assist with front desk, aquatics, and café operations as needed to support overall facility function.
  • Track and report facility usage statistics accurately.
  • Complete assigned tasks, checklists, and operational duties.

Mission Integration

  • Model Christ-centered values in all interactions with members, guests, and staff.
  • Support a culture of hospitality, respect, and service throughout the facility.


QUALIFICATIONS.

Christian Faith & Character

  • Profess and demonstrate a personal commitment to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
  • Exhibit a consistent Christian testimony and adherence to biblical principles in personal and professional life.
  • Demonstrate spiritual maturity, humility, and a strong commitment to excellence and servant leadership

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior experience in customer service, recreation, or facility operations preferred.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle conflict in a calm, professional, and Christ-centered manner.
  • Ability to remain attentive, proactive, and organized during shifts.
  • Basic problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Certifications & Physical Requirements

  • CPR/First Aid/AED certification required (or ability to obtain upon hire).
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.


EMPLOYMENT TERMS.

  • This position is classified as part-time, hourly, non-exempt and is eligible for overtime pay in accordance with applicable wage and hour laws.
  • Employees are required to accurately record all hours worked.
  • Work schedules will vary based on facility needs and may include:

  • Saturdays
  • Occasional daytime shifts
  • Regular, reliable, and on-site attendance is required.
