Job description

Compensation starting at $80,000 annually! Are you a hands-on leader with a passion for facility operations? We are looking for a Facilities Manager to oversee our maintenance department, ensuring our hotel property is well-maintained to maximize guest satisfaction and ownership investment returns. You will play a critical role in leading our maintenance team, fostering a culture of accountability, and ensuring our property meets the highest standards of safety and presentation.
Core Responsibilities
  • Maintenance & Operations: Oversee preventive maintenance programs, perform repairs (plumbing, HVAC, electronics, carpentry), and maintain building aesthetics (landscaping, interior/exterior).
  • Leadership: Manage and train maintenance staff, assign daily duties, and coach team members on performance and service standards.
  • Vendor & Budget Management: Develop sound vendor relations, manage department expenses within budget, and oversee product procurement.
  • Safety & Compliance: Ensure full compliance with safety policies, including OSHA standards and emergency procedures. Provide emergency on-call support as required.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records, including performance logs, accident reports, and departmental SOPs.

What You Bring
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in building maintenance (or equivalent trade profession experience). Vocational Certification is a plus.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to motivate, mentor, and coach others while fostering a collaborative, guest-focused environment.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong problem-solving abilities and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
