Job description

The Facilities Systems Technician - Mechanical, is responsible for maintaining the hospital's heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing, mechanical, medical gas and utility systems to provide a safe, reliable, and compliant healthcare environment. This position performs preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and emergency response on building infrastructure and utility systems while supporting regulatory compliance, maintaining accurate maintenance documentation, and participating in the department's on-call rotation to ensure uninterrupted hospital operations.
Schedule: Full Time
  • Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm rotating call schedule Sat-Sun
  • Benefit eligible

Required Skills:
1. Computer Skills
2. Knowledge in working with HVAC systems
Minimum Work Experience:
1. 5-8 years working in the HVAC world preferred.
Minimum Education:
1. Experience with HVAC and plumbing
2. Associates degree, HVAC Journeyman, Specialty Plumber, and Refrigeration License or 10 years experience.
