Job description

NOVA Engineering and Environmental is seeking a Building Enclosure Consultant (Project Manager) to join our Facilities & Building Enclosure Services team in Kennesaw, Georgia. This position is well suited for an experienced professional who values technical excellence, collaborative problem‑solving, and building lasting client relationships. At NOVA, you will manage and support a wide range of building enclosure and roofing projects while working alongside knowledgeable colleagues in a respected, employee‑focused organization committed to quality, safety, and professional growth.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Provide project management and technical oversight for building envelope, facilities, and roofing projects from initial assessment through completion
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, maintaining clear, professional communication throughout each project
  • Perform building enclosure assessments, including roofing, façade, and waterproofing evaluations, litigation support, field testing, and distress investigations
  • Conduct and/or oversee field investigations such as moisture intrusion evaluations, non‑destructive testing, and fenestration/façade testing
  • Support the preparation of design and construction documents for roof replacement, building enclosure rehabilitation, glazing replacement, and related remediation efforts

Minimum Qualifications, Experience and Education

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in building enclosure and/or roofing consulting
  • Strong technical knowledge of building envelope systems, including constructability, integration, durability, thermal performance, and long‑term maintenance
  • Ability to clearly and professionally communicate technical findings to clients and project teams
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; technical report writing is a key component of this role
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Preferred Certifications (a plus):

  • Registered Roof Consultant (RRC)
  • Registered Waterproofing Consultant (RWC)
  • Registered Exterior Wall Observer (REWO)
  • Registered Roof Observer (RRO)
  • Certified Infrared Thermographer (CIT)
  • Professional Engineer or Licensed Architect
