The primary responsibility of this role is to deliver engaging, high-impact learning that supports leadership development, onboarding, and enterprise capability building through strong design, facilitation excellence, and event execution.

Reporting to the Training Content & Facilitation Manager, the person in this role will support the Talent Development department's objective to deliver relevant, actionable development offerings to empower and enable team members to learn and grow throughout their career at Toyota, creating mutual value for team members and the organization.

This position is based in Plano, Texas. The selected candidate will be expected to reside within commutable distance of this location. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

What you'll be doing

  • Facilitation & Delivery

    • Facilitate instructor-led, virtual, and hybrid training sessions across leadership development, onboarding, and enterprise learning programs.

    • Deliver engaging learning experiences using adult learning principles, storytelling, and experiential techniques.

    • Create an inclusive and interactive learning environment that encourages participation, reflection, and application.

    • Adapt facilitation approach based on audience level (e.g., new hires, managers, senior leaders).

  • Learning Experience Design

    • Partner with instructional designers and SMEs to support the design and enhancement of learning solutions.

    • Provide input on facilitation guides, participant materials, and instructional strategies to improve learner engagement.

    • Contribute to ongoing iteration of learning programs based on participant feedback and business outcomes.

  • Leadership Development & Onboarding Support

    • Support the facilitation of leadership programs (e.g., new leader onboarding, experienced leader development, executive onboarding).

    • Deliver onboarding experiences that accelerate assimilation into Toyota culture and ways of working.

    • Reinforce Toyota Way principles and leadership behaviors throughout all learning experiences.

  • Event Design & Logistics

    • Design engaging learning environments (in-person or virtual) that enhance interaction, collaboration, and retention.

    • Collaborate with producers/partners to ensure seamless execution of hybrid and virtual sessions (e.g., breakout rooms, engagement tools).

    • Manage participant communications, timelines, and follow-up activities.

  • Continuous Improvement

    • Gather and analyze participant feedback to continuously improve learning experiences.

    • Identify opportunities to enhance facilitation techniques, learning design, and delivery methods.

    • Support innovation in learning delivery formats, tools, and engagement strategies.

What you bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Learning & Development, Organizational Development, Education, or closely related field OR equivalent professional experience relevant to this position

  • Strong experience in training facilitation, learning delivery, instructional design, and/or talent development

  • Experience applying adult learning principles to deliver engaging training for adult learners in both virtual and in-person environments

  • Experience with learning technologies, eLearning tools, and blended learning delivery

  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

  • Experience supporting logistics and coordination for training or events

  • Ability and willingness to travel 25% of the time
