ROLE OVERVIEW
The Content Creator works collaboratively with multiple internal teams, including Photography, Studio Operations, Buying|Merchandising, and Marketing to create quality content for mainly, but not limited to, our social media channels. You should be excellent at conceptualizing innovative ideas that will engage our audience and be able to translate our brand aesthetic into social media assets that will live across multiple digital properties. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of how to create digital content within the parameters of social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Snapchat, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Conceptualize, shoot, and edit vibrant, impactful content-including Reels, TikToks, IGTV videos, behind-the-scenes footage, and innovative digital assets-to energize: Product launches, Brand partnerships, In-store events , and Influencer activations
  • Collaborate with our External Creator Network (ECN):
  • Provide clear, strategic, and inspiring concept direction and feedback to external creators.
  • Regularly scout, evaluate, and onboard new talent, expanding and refreshing our ECN roster monthly.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams including eCommerce, Marketing, Retail, Talent Acquisition, and more to ensure all content aligns strategically with product initiatives, campaign themes, and editorial storytelling.
  • Maintain and elevate the iconic Fashion Nova aesthetic, ensuring consistency and innovation in brand voice and visual identity across all creative outputs.
  • Leverage AI-powered tools specifically for creative concept ideation and efficient content execution.
  • Actively stay ahead of digital content trends, identifying and leveraging opportunities to innovate and engage audiences across platforms.
  • Demonstrate agility in accepting and incorporating feedback within a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
  • Partner creatively and strategically with influencers to ideate and execute compelling campaigns.
  • Review, edit, and polish content to ensure excellence in quality, clarity, originality, and performance.
  • Participate proactively in content strategy discussions, contributing fresh, data-driven insights to continuously evolve our creative direction.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS
  • 4+ years of proven experience in photography, videography, content editing, and content strategy.
  • Exceptional fashion and model photography skills; retail or eCommerce experience is highly desirable.
  • Deep, intuitive understanding of social media platforms and mastery in creating content optimized for each.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered content tools and analytics platforms.
  • Outstanding organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects under tight deadlines with grace and efficiency.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate creative concepts and effectively present ideas both internally and externally.
  • High cultural and social awareness, demonstrating sensitivity, inclusivity, and an active understanding of social conversations, trends, and topics relevant to the Fashion Nova community.
  • Adaptable and comfortable thriving in a high-energy, high-output creative environment.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel as needed to capture and direct impactful, on- brand content.
