Our company is looking for a Sheet Metal Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in sheet metal fabrication and installation, as well as experience leading a team. As a Sheet Metal Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of 4-5 on Laser cutting, shearing, folding, and press brake forming
- Fabricate and install sheet metal products such as ducts, roofs, and siding
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and drawings
- Ensure that all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations
- Maintain equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working order
- Communicate with project managers and other team members to ensure that project deadlines are met
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and drawings
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
