Job Title: Duct Fabrication Sales Representative Location: Houston, TX Type: Direct Hire Compensation: $80,000.00 - $130,000.00 Work Model: Hybrid – onsite and field Overview

Our Client is a Houston-based duct fabrication company serving commercial mechanical contractors, sheet metal installation companies, and light industrial customers throughout Texas and surrounding markets. Built on a Relationship-Based and Performance-Driven culture, they have earned a reputation for quality fabrication, responsive service, fast lead times, honest communication, and dependable project execution. System One is seeking a motivated Duct Fabrication Sales Representative to help grow our Client's customer base, strengthen existing contractor relationships, and develop new business opportunities throughout the Houston and Texas markets. This is a sales producer position focused on creating opportunities, getting on bid lists, developing contractor relationships, and supporting profitable growth as the company expands its production capacity.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new business opportunities with commercial mechanical contractors, HVAC contractors, sheet metal installation companies, industrial contractors, and general contractors.
  • Pursue opportunities involving commercial ductwork, specialty duct systems, industrial fabrication, retrofit projects, fast-track construction projects, and negotiated work.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships that support repeat business and long-term backlog growth.
  • Work to get ADF added to contractor bid lists and preferred supplier/vendor lists.
  • Coordinate with estimating, project management, CAM, fabrication, and logistics teams to support successful project execution.
  • Maintain consistent sales activity, pipeline development, bid follow-up, customer visits, and opportunity reporting.
  • Represent ADF professionally at customer meetings, jobsite visits, industry functions, and networking events.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of sales, business development, account management, estimating, project coordination, or customer-facing experience.
  • Strong relationship-building, communication, and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to identify customer needs and connect them with practical fabrication and construction solutions.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable developing opportunities independently.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the Houston and Texas markets.

Preferred

  • Experience in duct fabrication, sheet metal, HVAC, mechanical contracting, industrial fabrication, construction, or related industries.
  • Existing relationships with Houston-area mechanical contractors, HVAC contractors, sheet metal contractors, project managers, estimators, or general contractors.
  • Familiarity with bid processes, plan/spec work, contractor sales, pipeline development, and opportunity tracking.
  • Experience using CRM systems, bid tracking tools, or sales reporting systems.
