Job description

MIG Welder

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to fabricate and assemble metal structures and equipment using MIG welding techniques. The ideal candidate can read blueprints, operate welding machinery safely, and produce high-quality welds that meet company and industry standards. Will be taking a welding test.

Key Responsibilities

Perform MIG welding on steel, aluminum, or stainless-steel components

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols

Set up and operate welding machines and related tools

Measure, cut, and fit metal materials

Inspect completed welds for quality and structural integrity

Grind, clean, and finish welded surfaces

Follow workplace safety procedures and OSHA guidelines

Maintain welding equipment and work area cleanliness

Collaborate with fabricators, machinists, and production teams

Required Skills & Qualifications

High school diploma or GED

Previous MIG welding experience preferred

Ability to read measuring tools and blueprints

Knowledge of welding safety practices

Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail

Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods

Welding certification is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with fabrication tools and metalworking equipment

Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines
