Job description

Vancouver Clinic is hiring a Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer. Must be a Washington or Oregon resident and available to work on site as needed. Responsibilities include setting up, managing, and optimizing the Clinic's Microsoft Fabric environment, including workspaces and data lakes, supporting data analytics, reporting, and integration with clinical and non-clinical third-party systems. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams, troubleshoot system issues, and help ensure security, scalability, and compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA. To be successful in this role, you must have strong knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Azure Data Lake, data integration, and cloud-based data services, along with the ability to work well with others as part of a cohesive team in a fast-paced environment. Preferred qualifications include healthcare data experience, familiarity with interoperability standards such as HL7, FHIR, and DICOM, and Microsoft Azure Data Engineer or similar certification.

Location: Evergreen Administration (13898 NE 28th Street - Vancouver, WA 98682)*

Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00AM to 5:00PM

Pay range starting at $89,800.00 a year and goes up based on evaluation of experience.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

  • 2+ years of experience managing Microsoft Fabric environments, with a focus on data lakes, workspaces, and integration from third-party systems.

  • 5+ years of experience managing Microsoft Azure or Data Lakes.

  • Experience in the healthcare industry with knowledge of healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR) and regulations (e.g., HIPAA) is preferred.

Additional Information: *This position will transition to an off-site work schedule upon completion of the training period and meeting the requirements for working off-site. This requires an employee to live in the local Vancouver, WA or Portland, OR area and have a secure home network with minimum upload (5 mbps) and download speeds (25 mbps).

Pay Range:

$88,037.00 - $132,055.00
