Job Title: MS Fabric Data Engineer / Full Stack Data Solutions Engineer

Location: Remote
Duration: 12+ Months (Contract)

Job description:

Mandatory Skills & Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in:
    • Data Engineering
    • Data Modeling
    • Database Design or Data Architecture
  • Hands-on experience with ETL tools, such as:
    • Microsoft Fabric
    • Azure Data Factory (ADF)
    • Databricks
    • Spark-based data platforms
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Fabric, including:
    • Workspace management
    • Semantic model development
  • Experience building enterprise-scale data models.
  • Proficiency with Power BI, including dashboards and paginated reports.
  • Experience working with:
    • Git-based version control
    • CI/CD pipelines for data solutions
  • Strong attention to detail with emphasis on data accuracy and consistency.
  • Solid documentation discipline (versioning, change tracking, logic documentation).

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest data from multiple source systems (ERP, CRM, work order management, etc.).
  • Build and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models supporting analytics, BI, and operational reporting.
  • Develop, maintain, and document standardized reporting solutions, including:
    • Interactive dashboards
    • Paginated reports
  • Create and maintain data dictionaries, metadata repositories, and technical documentation.
  • Monitor and improve data quality, consistency, and pipeline performance.
  • Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve data-related issues.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate reporting and analytics requirements into reliable data solutions.
  • Follow version control and CI/CD best practices for data pipelines, models, and reports.
