Job description

Join a leading air ambulance provider as a Roving A&P Mechanic where you'll play a vital role in maintaining our client's fleet of aircraft and ensuring the safety and quality of life-changing missions. Responsibilities
  • Execute and evaluate daily maintenance and inspection requirements to maintain aircraft airworthiness.
  • Inform the Lead Mechanic of any unusual situations that demand schedule changes or additional technical assistance.
  • Manage aircraft maintenance at field bases, overseeing stock levels and securing necessary spares for repairs.
  • Ensure the safety and security of all company assets at field bases.
  • Prepare reports, requisitions, and certify that aircraft maintenance complies with FAA, manufacturer, and company standards.
  • Accurately log maintenance details in RAMCO and communicate effectively with the Lead Mechanic and other stakeholders.
  • Manage parts inventory and suggest inventory-level changes as necessary.
  • Maintain special tools, ensuring timely calibration.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the company's mission.

Requirements
  • High school diploma.
  • FAA Mechanic Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a certified mechanic.
  • Basic communication and computer skills.
  • Ability to pass a pre-placement physical exam, drug screening, and background check.
  • Skills in sheet metal repair and/or avionics troubleshooting and repair.
  • Willingness to travel frequently with potential short notice.
  • Ability to work night shifts as maintenance events require.
