Role Overview:

The Senior Designer plays a key role in driving design innovation and ensuring the highest standards across our projects. Reporting to the Vice President, you’ll manage and coordinate the design process from concept through completion, working closely with development, construction, marketing and management teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support architectural/interior design progress across multiple projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to define project objectives and design strategies.
  • Review and provide feedback on design proposals, including layouts, interior architecture and FF&E.
  • Oversee feasibility and constructability assessments, ensuring compliance with codes and standards.
  • Participate in OAC and design coordination meetings, addressing MEP, structural and code-related issues.
  • Manage FF&E, OS&E and art program selections ensuring design integrity and quality control; experience with FF&E procurement processes a plus.
  • Review marketing materials for design accuracy and brand consistency.
  • Conduct product research, finishes/sample procurement, AutoCAD drafting and 3D modeling as needed.
  • Support construction administration processes, including RFIs, submittals and punch lists.
  • Work across office, property locations and active construction sites.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in architecture, interior design, interior architecture and FF&E design having successfully completed projects from concept design through construction administration phases; real estate development experience preferred.
  • Strong technical skills in architectural/interior design, including the ability to review and redline drawings.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite and AutoCAD; experience with Revit, Bluebeam, Acrobat and 3D modeling preferred.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior leadership and partners.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, work independently and collaborate within a team.
