  • Define portfolio segmentation, value propositions, and investment priorities aligned to market needs, vertical strategies, and Fluke/FPI growth objectives.
  • Develop and maintain business cases for new product introductions (NPI), line extensions, and lifecycle transitions.

Voice of Customer & Market Insight

  • Lead VOC, win/loss, and market analysis to deeply understand customer workflows, application needs, and unmet pain points across industries such as metals, glass, plastics, cement, paper, and semiconductors.
  • Translate customer insights into clear product requirements, pricing strategies, and roadmap decisions.
  • Monitor competitive landscape and emerging technologies to inform differentiation and defensibility.

New Product Introduction (NPI) & Lifecycle Execution

  • Serve as product owner for NPIs, driving requirements definition, launch readiness, and post‑launch performance tracking.
  • Partner closely with Engineering and Operations to balance performance, cost, quality, and manufacturability throughout the lifecycle.
  • Lead portfolio simplification, cost‑out, and end‑of‑life (EOL) initiatives using data‑driven, FBS‑based decision making.

Commercial Enablement & Go‑to‑Market

  • Define pricing, positioning, and value messaging for global sales, distributor, and specialist channels.
  • Support sales enablement, including training, tools, application guidance, and key customer engagements.
  • Collaborate with Marketing on launch plans, campaigns, and application‑driven collateral aligned to target industries and buying cycles.

Business Performance & Continuous Improvement

  • Own key product KPIs including revenue growth, margin, mix, attach rates, VOC metrics, and launch performance.
  • Apply FBS and kaizen to continuously improve portfolio profitability, customer experience, and internal execution.
  • Present clear, fact‑based updates in ops reviews, portfolio reviews, and strategy forums.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, product marketing, or commercial strategy, preferably in industrial, instrumentation, sensors, or automation products
  • Demonstrated experience managing hardware and system‑based portfolios across multiple lifecycle stages
  • Strong ability to translate technical concepts into customer value propositions
  • Experience working in cross‑functional, global environments
Preferred Qualifications
