Position Summary
As a Project Director, you will be responsible for estimating mitigation work related to fire, water, flood, and other property losses affecting both residential and commercial properties. You will work closely with insurance companies, adjusters, TPAs, and property owners to ensure projects are bid accurately, competitively, and profitably.
This role combines technical estimating expertise with relationship-driven sales. You will cultivate long-term partnerships with adjusters and insurance representatives to generate consistent project referrals. Additionally, you will attend industry events, support marketing presentations, and actively drive new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate projects for residential and commercial losses
  • Prepare accurate and competitive bids using industry software
  • Collaborate with insurance adjusters, TPAs, and property owners
  • Build and maintain strong referral relationships
  • Attend industry events and assist with marketing efforts
  • Drive sales growth and profitability

This position offers the opportunity to work on projects ranging from small residential to large commercial losses. Your earning potential is directly tied to your performance and drive.
Qualifications & Experience
To succeed in this role, you should have:
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on estimating experience in residential and commercial
  • Experience using Xactimate (highly preferred)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills with both residential and commercial property owners
  • Experience with time and material estimating (preferred)
  • A team-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic
