Job Description: OptometristLocation: Hanford, CA, 93230

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Optometrist to join our team in Hanford, CA. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional eye care to patients of all ages.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive eye exams to diagnose and treat vision problems
  • Prescribe and fit eyeglasses and contact lenses
  • Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgery
  • Diagnose and treat eye diseases and conditions, such as glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated patient care
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Stay current with advances in optometry and related fields
Requirements:
  • Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited school
  • Valid state license to practice optometry, PREFERRED NOT REQ.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to providing exceptional patient care
The team at Kings Eye Center (KEC) joins us with one ophthalmologist, Dr. Bradley Beard, and three optometrists, Drs. Nathan Panttaja, Stacy Omon, and Ronald Keck. The practice was founded in 1955, and Dr. Beard has been with the practice since 1987. They are the only ophthalmology practice serving Kings County, located in the south-central San Joaquin Valley.
The KEC team specializes in comprehensive eye exams, diabetic and glaucoma management, cataract surgery, and glasses and contacts sold in their optical shop.
Located approximately 2 hours north of San Luis Obispo, KEC becomes our 11th practice in the state of California.
