Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong

organizational skills and excellent phone etiquette, ensuring smooth operations

and exceptional patient care. This role is pivotal in managing administrative tasks

while supporting the clinical staff, making it essential for maintaining an efficient

workflow. We are looking for someone with a very flexible schedule.

Primary Responsibilities

- Greet and establish a relationship with patients

- Conduct pre-exam tests including visual field tests, auto-refractions, IOPs, and

retinal photographs, and OCT imaging. You will be trained on how to use the equipment.

- Training first-time contact lens wearers with insertion, removal, and proper

maintenance of contact lenses.

- Answer incoming calls with professionalism, providing information and

assistance to patients.

- Schedule and confirm appointments for patients, ensuring optimal use of the

office calendar.

- Conduct insurance verification to confirm coverage and benefits prior to

appointments and ensure proper informed consent is obtained. Insurance verification.

- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems.

Experience
