Job Responsibilities:

  • Comply with all PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)

  • Ensure safe, legal, and quality products through assessment, inspections, and verifications of processes at all stages of manufacturing.

  • Adjust machine components to regulate speed, pressure and temperatures and amounts dimensions and flow of materials or ingredients.

  • Understand the high barrier extrusion process flow as well as the Motan system.

  • Examine, measure and weigh materials or products to verify conformance to standards, using measuring devices such as templates, micrometers, or scales.

  • Monitor machine operations and observe lights/ gauges to detect malfunctions.

  • Verify that parameters set on the machine are correct for each specific product and material, adjusting when corrections during production runs are necessary.

  • Use needed tools, safety items or supplies for the proper function of job requirements. Properly handle them and return them after use to its storage unit or cabinet assigned to each machine.

  • Review and interpret work orders, specification, and instructions to determine materials, ingredients, procedures, components, settings, and adjustments.

  • Fill out daily production sheets and production system accurately and completely.

  • Perform material handler duties as necessary.

  • Keep and maintain a safe and clean work environment.

  • Follow all Safety rules, HACCP, and good manufacturing practices (GMP's) / SQF requirements

  • Ensure maximum output of machines.

  • Assist to training coordinated by the company where participation is needed

  • Report any work-related incident

  • Work independently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Must maintain an attitude of safety awareness and responsibility.

Job Requirements:

  • 2 years minimum experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Previous machine operation experience preferred
  • Possess basic mathematical skills
  • Perform basic visual quality inspections on products
  • Maintain production pace of other team members
  • Able to utilize equipment as needed to perform duties
