Job Description

Join our growing Extrusion Team at Veolia Water Technologies and Solutions in Minnetonka, MN. We produce advanced water filtration products for a variety of industrial water applications around the globe. As an Extrusion Machine Operator, you'll play a crucial role in manufacturing high-quality components that contribute to water treatment solutions worldwide. If you have good mechanical aptitude and enjoy working with machinery, this could be an ideal job for you.

Schedule: 9:45 pm to 6:15 am Sunday through Thursday

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain extrusion equipment for processing polypropylene pellets

  • Follow safety guidelines and participate in safety-related activities

  • Set up, monitor, and adjust machines according to product specifications

  • Inspect materials and products for quality control

  • Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on equipment

  • Keep accurate records and communicate technical issues

  • Assist in training other operators

  • Compensation - The salary range is tied to the market for similarly benchmarked roles. The range is not an absolute, but a guide, and offers will be based on the individual candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, and market conditions, as well as internal peer equity. Depending upon all the preceding considerations for the final selected individual candidate, the offer may be lower or higher than the stated range: $26.00 hourly. 

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Basic computer skills, including Excel

  • Good math skills 

  • Experience with quality inspection and lean manufacturing

  • Familiarity with SAP and Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) safety procedures

Preferred:

  • 6 months experience as a machine operator, maintenance technician, or related military experience; or an Associate's Degree in a relevant field

  • Good mechanical aptitude 

  • Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed

  • Willingness to wear required personal protective equipment
