Job Summary
The Tooling Supervisor ensures safety while managing the tuning and maintaining of extrusion tools. He oversees the tuning program and help maintain all extrusion tools to their optimal performance. He is also involved in the designing of new tools and products. This role collaborates with site Management and supports them in employee related efforts. He assists with, training, various compliance matters, discipline, employee engagement and retention effort. They consistently demonstrate, promote and display behaviors aligned to the BOL core values.
Job Location
This position is an on-site role located in Nephi, UT.
Job Responsibilities
  • Follow all safety procedures and protocols
  • Keep equipment and work areas clean and organized
  • Tune extrusion tools to produce parts at Spec
  • Maintain existing extrusion tools so they produce at spec.
  • Assist in design of new tools and products
  • Ensure all personnel are performing all job duties assigned
  • Perform any disciplinary/coaching items
  • Ability to manage PTO requests to ensure proper team coverage
  • Complete and processes time-off requests and timesheets for payroll timely
  • Set clear expectations for employees
  • Other duties may be assigned based on the needs of the business

Job Requirements
  • 2-year certificate in a Machinist related field
  • Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience with demonstrated progressive responsibility
  • Understanding of NVP QA spec guild lines
  • Experience working in a manufacturing/distribution organization is preferred
  • Professional and Personable, ability to work individually as well as with a team
  • Comfortable rolling up sleeves to learn new things
  • Lift, push or pull up to 50 Lbs.
