Who We Want:

We are seeking a leader to drive the development, scale-up, and operation of extrusion-based NPI manufacturing processes across the full product lifecycle-from concept through pilot validation to commercial launch.

This role leads a team optimizing automated and semi-automated extrusion systems to deliver strong process performance, product quality, and manufacturability. Responsibilities include material selection, process optimization, troubleshooting, and maintenance, with work aligned to development protocols, technical standards, and cross-functional input.

As a people leader, you will set technical direction, develop talent, and drive new product development and continuous improvement-building a high-performing team that delivers scalable, high-quality processes to support successful commercialization.

What You Will Do:

  • Build and lead a high-performing, inclusive team by attracting, developing, retaining, and coaching talent, setting clear objectives, and driving individual and team performance.
  • Lead projects and initiatives end-to-end-including planning, budgeting, staffing, and execution-while solving technical, business, and team challenges and making sound project-level decisions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally and communicate effectively to influence stakeholders, translate technical and regulatory concepts, and drive innovation and business outcomes.
  • Oversee extrusion process development, including material selection, optimization, troubleshooting, and equipment support, ensuring consistent output that meets specifications, quality standards, and design criteria.
  • Ensure execution aligns with established protocols, technical documentation, and cross-functional requirements.
  • Drive financial accountability, including cost center budgeting, forecasting, and tracking.
  • Support customer-focused initiatives such as Voice of Customer and customer-centric design with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead and model compliance with regulatory requirements, procedures, and design controls.
  • Review and approve (or delegate) technical documentation and project deliverables.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • 6+ years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior people leadership experience.
  • Experience with extrusion and/or injection molding processes.
  • Experience working with medical device polymers.
  • Experience translating complex technical plans to diverse audiences.
  • Consistent track record of delivering programs and business objectives on time, within budget, and to quality standards

United States of America Pay Ranges:

$107,700 - $179,600 USD Annual
