Roles & Responsibilities

Mimecast Extraction Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled Data Migration SME with **8 10 years of experience** to lead a massive email archive extraction project!

**Key Roles**

  • Leading the end-to-end technical migration of legacy email archives from Mimecast into Microsoft Azure Blob Storage.
  • Extracting high-volume data using Mimecast APIs, native eDiscovery, and enterprise 3rd-party migration tools (e.g., Transvault, Nuix).
  • Writing scripts (PowerShell/Python) to automate batching and manage API rate limits.
  • Architecting and securing Azure Blob Storage containers (Hot/Cool/Archive tiers).
  • Ensuring zero data loss and maintaining a legally defensible chain of custody.

**What you need to bring:**

  • **8 10 years of experience** in IT Infrastructure, Cloud Engineering, or Data Migration.
  • Deep, hands-on experience with Mimecast Cloud Archive and bulk data exports.
  • Proven expertise using REST APIs and 3rd-party extraction tools.
  • Strong Microsoft Azure background (Blob Storage, RBAC, Data Lifecycle).
  • Scripting proficiency for API automation and log-level troubleshooting.
