About the roleThe Network Operations team is responsible for providing support for Carvana's field operations team. The Network Operations Manager oversees and manages the performance and efficiency of a team of Network Operations Specialists, focusing on publishing the next day schedule, driving continuous efficiency improvement, monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), troubleshooting operation disruptions, and ensuring exceptional customer experience. This position will drive individual development and team success.
What you'll be doing
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the Network Operations team.
  • Partner with department leaders and internal/external stakeholders to resolve and correct escalated operational challenges as they arise.
  • Utilize and promote continuous improvement principles. Identify creative, sustainable solutions, in partnership with key stakeholders, that achieve required service and quality results for the Network Operations team.
  • Provide mentoring and accountability to direct reports and succession planning through appropriate coaching, leadership development and training, and performance management.
  • Reviews and reacts to KPIs and coordinates with internal stakeholders.
  • Balance execution, process improvement and impeccable customer experience.

What you should know/have
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, from an accredited undergraduate institution required.
  • 4+ years experience in a Customer Service role.
  • 4+ years of practical experience in Operations, Retail, Maintenance, or Logistics.
  • 4+ years experience in leading and developing a team.
  • Strong ability to coach and motivate others.
  • Experience with strategic planning and process improvement.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Ability to communicate and interact with internal and external stakeholders effectively in a professional, courteous manner.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
  • Ability and willingness to work the demands of the department which may be subject to evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to work in an office environment, with extensive use of computers.
  • Ability to sit for up to eight hours per day.
